Eureka: Australia’s leading science awards announced – RN Breakfast

From milkshakes to cure malaria to citizen science projects using drones along our beaches, Australia’s leading science awards, the Eureka Prizes were announced overnight.

The Emerging Leader in Science award went to Associate Professor Asha Bowen, who is Head of Vaccines and Infectious Diseases at the Telethon Kids institute.

Her work over the years has significantly changed the way indigenous children with skin infections are treated.
